C. Shakeela (born approximately 19 November 1973) is an Indian actress and politician who has predominantly acted in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada language films. She was born in a Muslim family based in Kodambakkam, Madras (now Chennai), with roots in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh. She debuted in the Tamil film Playgirls (1995) and rose to fame with the blockbuster Malayalam film Kinnarathumbikal (2000), which established her as one of the most recognisable faces in South Indian B-grade cinema during the late 1990s and early 2000s. Her films were dubbed into multiple Indian and foreign languages. From 2003 onwards, she transitioned into family entertainers and comedy roles across Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada productions. In 2013, she published her autobiography Shakeela: Aatmakatha and announced her retirement from B-grade films. She is a member of the Indian National Congress. In 2014, she participated in Bigg Boss Kannada Season 2, where she was evicted in week 3, finishing fifteenth overall.
Her prominent work in South Indian B-grade and softcore films in the late 1990s and early 2000s, particularly the Malayalam film Kinnarathumbikal (2000).
