Veera Prashanth Sambargi (ಪ್ರಶಾಂತ್ ಸಂಬರ್ಗಿ) is an Indian businessman, social activist, film producer, and distributor born on 6 October 1980 in Belagavi, Karnataka. He attended Webster High School, Bengaluru, earned a BBA from PES College of Management, Bengaluru (1995-1998), and an MBA from TASMAC College, Bengaluru (2000). He is married and has two sons. His corporate career began in 2001 as a Direct Selling Agent in Bengaluru, and from 2002 to 2008 he worked with Reliance Infocomm as a DSA-CDMA, becoming one of Reliance's top national performers - in July 2003, he personally received the PAN India Number One DAE Award from Mukesh Ambani at DAKC, Bombay. He then transitioned into film production and distribution in Sandalwood, producing and distributing several Kannada films while also being active in pro-Kannada social causes. In 2018, actress Sruthi Hariharan filed a police complaint alleging Prashanth Sambargi threatened to kill her; separately, in 2020, the Bengaluru Central Crime Branch issued a notice to him in connection with the Kannada film industry drug investigation. He participated in Bigg Boss Kannada Season 8 (2021), hosted by Kiccha Sudeep. In September 2022, he entered Bigg Boss Kannada Season 9 alongside fellow activist Rupesh Rajanna (referred to collectively by media as 'two fighters'). He was evicted in Week 11 (Day 76), finishing tenth overall.
