
Abhirami Suresh is an Indian singer, actress, composer, and VJ born in approximately 1996 in Ernakulam, Kerala. She is the younger sister of singer Amrutha Suresh. Together, they form the musical duo Amrutam Gamay, which they co-founded in 2014. They launched the YouTube channel Amrutam Gamay - AG in December 2018 for vlogs and creative content. Abhirami began composing at age 14. She is a trained keyboardist and violinist. She gained early attention when, while attending Idea Star Singer (2007, where Amrutha was competing), she did impressions of host Ranjini Haridas and judge Sharreth, earning a role in the children's Asianet serial Hello Kuttichathan (2008-09) at age 12. The duo Amrutam Gamay performed internationally within six months of formation and their cover of the Israeli folk song Hava Nagila became popular among the global Jewish community. In 2015, they composed and recorded original songs. Abhirami has hosted the daily music show Dear Kappa on Kappa TV as a VJ. The duo contributed songs to the films Crossroad (2017) and Aadu 2 (2017). She has also acted in the short film Viral (2019) and the Tamil-Malayalam bilingual film Kerala Nattilam Pengaludane (2014). On Day 50 of Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 2 (Week 7), she and Amrutha entered the Bigg Boss house on Asianet as wildcard entrants - competing as a single unit in what the show called 'Project DNA.' The season was cancelled on 20 March 2020 (Day 75) due to COVID-19.
