Dilsha Prasannan (ദിൽഷ പ്രസന്നൻ) is an Indian actress, dancer, and television presenter born on 25 July 1991 in Kozhikode (Calicut), Kerala, into a Hindu family. Her father's name is Prasannan and her mother is Beena; she has two sisters, Shimna and Shekha. She completed her schooling at Government Mappila Vocational Higher Secondary School, Koyilandy, Kerala, and subsequently completed an Air Hostess course at the Frankfinn Institute, Kerala. She is a trained practitioner of Acro Yoga. She began her entertainment career in 2014 as a participant in D4 Dance Season 1 on Mazhavil Manorama, finishing in the top five, and then won D4 Dance Reloaded in 2015 alongside partner Rinosh Surendran. In 2016, she made her acting debut in the Asianet serial Kana Kanmani, earning both the Best Debut Female Award and Best Face Award at the Asianet Television Awards 2016. She also appeared on the reality show Dare the Fear (2017). She subsequently appeared in further television productions. In March 2022, she entered Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 4, hosted by Mohanlal on Asianet (with a 24×7 stream on Disney+ Hotstar). On 3 July 2022, she was crowned the winner, taking home the trophy and ₹50 lakh - becoming the first female contestant in the history of Bigg Boss Malayalam to win the title. During her time in the house, her love triangle with fellow contestants Robin Radhakrishnan and Blesslee was a much-discussed subplot. She has over 600,000 followers on Instagram.
