Janaki Sudheer (ജാനകി സുധീർ) is an Indian film actress and model born on 28 October 1996 in Venjaramoodu, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. She grew up in a culturally rich part of Thiruvananthapuram district and was drawn to acting from a young age, eventually pursuing a career in the Malayalam film industry. She completed her schooling in Thiruvananthapuram and later settled in Kochi for her film career. She made her acting debut with a supporting role in Omar Lulu's comedy-drama Chunkz (2017), followed by an appearance in Oru Yamandan Premakatha (2019, produced under the Dulquer Salmaan banner). She subsequently appeared in the films Chavukali, Dhwani, and Holy Wound (2022) - a Malayalam silent film directed by Asok R. Nath that sensitively explores themes of female homosexuality and lesbianism, with Janaki in the lead role. The film streamed on OTT from August 2022 and earned positive reviews for its bold and humane portrayal. She has over 103,000 followers on Instagram, where she shares fashion, travel, and professional updates. In March 2022, she entered Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 4 as the second contestant to be introduced. She was evicted in Week 1 (Day 6), finishing twentieth and last overall.
