Renu Sudhi (real name Reshma P. Thankachen) is a Kerala-based model, social media personality, and actress, widely recognised as the second wife of the late Malayalam comedian and mimicry artist Kollam Sudhi. After Kollam Sudhi's tragic death in a road accident on 5 June 2023 in Kaipamangalam, Thrissur, Renu — then relatively private — entered the public eye through her vibrant and bold social media content, including fashion photoshoots, reels, music album appearances, and short films. She received intense online backlash for not conforming to traditional expectations of widowhood, but addressed these criticisms head-on. She appeared in the Malayalam film Veru (2025) and music videos including Vellambal Poovanu and Kari Mizhi Kannal (2025). She and Kollam Sudhi had a son, Rithul; Sudhi's son Rahul from his first marriage is also part of their family. In August 2025, she entered Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 7 as an original contestant. After repeatedly requesting to leave, she voluntarily walked out on Day 34, becoming one of the season's most discussed personalities for her candid openness about grief and personal freedom.
