Karan Sonawane, popularly known as Focused Indian, is an Indian content creator, stand-up comedian, and actor from Mumbai, Maharashtra. A graduate in Bachelor of Arts from Mumbai University, he began his entertainment journey in theatre and stand-up comedy in 2014 before moving to digital content creation in 2015. He first worked on the Social Media Team of the Bhadipa YouTube Channel, then launched his own channel — initially called 'S. S. Karan', later 'Karan Does Everything', and ultimately rebranded as 'Focused Indian'. His signature humorous and relatable Instagram reels, built around Mumbai life, sports, and everyday situations, earned him over 2 million followers. He has collaborated with platforms including FilterCopy and RVCJ Media, and featured in a viral video by Ashish Chanchlani. He made his Marathi film debut with Ek Don Teen Chaar. In January 2026, he entered Bigg Boss Marathi Season 6 as one of the original contestants. He was eliminated in Week 5, finishing sixteenth.
