Ruchita Jamdar is an Indian dancer, actress, and reality television personality from Kolhapur, Maharashtra. Coming from a humble background — her father worked as a delivery person — she developed a passion for dance at a young age and pursued it as a professional career. She first came to public attention by winning Dance Maharashtra Dance in 2018 on Zee Marathi, which introduced her to a wide regional audience. She subsequently finished as the first runner-up on Mi Honar Superstar (Star Pravah). In 2025, she gained national exposure through MTV Roadies Double Cross (Season 20). In January 2026, she entered Bigg Boss Marathi Season 6 as one of the original contestants. Her bold, direct communication style and fearless opinions made her one of the season's more polarising personalities. She was eliminated in Week 8, finishing thirteenth.
