Archana Ravichandran (அர்ச்சனா ரவிச்சந்திரன்) is an Indian actress, video jockey, and social media influencer born on 11 November 1997 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She changed her name officially to Archana Ravichandran in May 2023. She studied Electronics and Communication Engineering at Agni College of Technology, Thalambur, and trained in Carnatic music for over ten years as well as dance. She began her career as an anchor at Aditya TV before joining Vijay Television as a VJ, hosting shows like Comedy Raja Kalakkal Rani and Morattu Single Season 2. Her acting debut came with Raja Rani 2 (2020), in which she played the character Archana alongside Alya Manasa, establishing herself as a household name. She also appeared in the web series Aval Ennaval. In October 2023, she entered Bigg Boss Tamil Season 7 (hosted by Kamal Haasan on Star Vijay/Disney+ Hotstar) as a wildcard contestant on Day 28, having already been evicted during the regular season. Displaying resilience, strategic gameplay, and emotional honesty, she became the first wildcard contestant to win Bigg Boss Tamil — and the first in the entire Bigg Boss TV franchise in India — when she was crowned winner on 14 January 2024, taking home ₹50 lakh cash, a Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, and a plot from G-Square Promoters. Post-Bigg Boss, she made her Kollywood film debut in Demonte Colony 2 (2024), and her song 'Toxic Kadhal' with composer Arun Raj became a nationwide sensation.
