Dhanraj Sukhram is an Indian comedian and actor from Tadepalligudem, Andhra Pradesh. He left his hometown as a young man - reportedly with only ₹400 in his pocket, without informing his family - and arrived in Hyderabad, where he worked as a waiter in a hotel while simultaneously attending an acting school. His father is Sukhram; he is married to Sirisha. He made his acting debut with director Teja's Jai (2004) and built a career predominantly as a comedian in Telugu films and television. His most prominent recurring platform has been the popular comedy show Jabardasth (ETV), where he led Team 'Dhanadhan Dhanraj,' and Adhirindi (Zee Telugu), where he helmed Team 'Dhanraj Blasters.' Notable film credits include Parugu (2008, with Allu Arjun), Ala Modalaindi (2011), Pilla Zamindar (2011), Gabbar Singh (2012, with Pawan Kalyan), Poola Rangadu (2012), Attarintiki Daredi (2013), Gopala Gopala (2015), Banthi Poola Janaki (2016, as the lead opposite Diksha Panth), and Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada (2016). He played opposite Lakshmi Manchu in Pilavani Perantam. In 2017, he participated in Bigg Boss Telugu Season 1 on Star Maa (hosted by Jr. NTR) and was evicted in Week 6 (Day 41). On the day of his eviction, his wife gave birth to their second son. He finished 9th overall.
