Arohi Rao (real name Anjali) is a Telugu television anchor and actress from Warangal, Telangana. She had a difficult childhood - her mother died due to illness, and after her father remarried and left, she was raised by her grandmother. These hardships, which she shared openly on the Bigg Boss Season 6 launch night, shaped her resilience and made her an empathetic on-screen personality. She built her media career as an anchor and news presenter, gaining recognition through her work on TV9 Telugu's Ismart News programme, where her co-anchor RJ Surya Narayana was also a cast member. She gained additional exposure through short film appearances. She uses both the name Anjali (her real name) and Arohi Rao (her professional name) in the industry. In September 2022, she entered Bigg Boss Telugu Season 6 as the 19th contestant introduced on the launch night. She was evicted in Week 4 (Day 28), finishing 18th overall.
