Geethu Royal (also known as Galatta Geethu Royal) is a Telugu comedian, actress, radio jockey, and content creator from Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh. She completed her high school in Nandyal and moved to Bangalore for graduation, working for several years at a global corporate firm before transitioning to entertainment. She rose to prominence through viral TikTok and Instagram lip-sync videos featuring her distinctive Rayalaseema accent and comic flair, which built her an organic following. She became a recognisable face on the television comedy show Jabardasth (ETV Telugu) through her performances and collaborations with Rohini, Aadi, and other comedians. She also gained a following through her YouTube channel, where she reviewed Bigg Boss Telugu seasons. She described three reasons for entering Bigg Boss Season 6 on launch night: personal insecurities (including body image), wanting to discover herself, and wanting to see what BB reviews would be written about her once she was a housemate herself. In September 2022, she entered Bigg Boss Telugu Season 6. She was evicted in Week 9 (Day 63), finishing 13th overall.
