Prerana Kambam (ప్రేరణ కంభమ్) is an Indian actress and model born on 18 June 1996 in Hyderabad, Telangana, into a Tamil Iyer family. She briefly lived in the United States as a child before settling in Bengaluru. She holds a B.E. in Industrial Management from Dayananda Sagar Institutions, Bengaluru, and is married to Shripad Deshpande. She began her career on Kannada television with the mythological serial Hara Hara Mahadev (2017) before making her Kannada film debut in Churikatte (2018). She also appeared in Aana, Physics Teacher, and Pentagon. In 2021, she participated in the Bigg Boss Kannada mini-season. Her Telugu breakthrough came with Krishna Mukunda Murari (Star Maa, 2022), where her portrayal was widely appreciated. In 2024, she entered Bigg Boss Telugu Season 8 alongside her friend Abhay Bethiganti. Her emotional intelligence and consistent performance throughout the season earned her a strong fanbase, and she finished as third runner-up in the grand finale on 15 December 2024.
