Naveen Kumar Bethiganti (నవీన్ కుమార్ బేతిగంటి), known professionally as Abhay Naveen or Abhay Bethiganti, is an Indian actor, director, and comedian primarily working in Telugu cinema. He is from Hyderabad, Telangana. His exact date of birth is not publicly disclosed. He trained as a theatre artist under Dr. Ram Mohan Hulagundi at the Nishumbitha Theatre Group, Hyderabad, and made his film debut in the Telugu rom-com Pyar Mein Padipoyane (2014). He then shot to fame with his memorable comic role as Vishnu - Vijay Deverakonda's loyal best friend - in Tharun Bhascker's critically-acclaimed Pelli Choopulu (2016), which won the National Award for Best Direction and grossed ₹50+ crore on a minimal budget. He followed this with successful appearances in Shamantakamani (2017), Manasuku Nachindhi (2017), Sammohanam (2018), and Geetha Govindam (2018). He also directed and wrote the Telugu film Ramanna Youth, his feature directorial debut. He is married and has a daughter. In September 2024, he entered Bigg Boss Telugu Season 8 from Day 1 as the third contestant, alongside his friend Prerana Kambam. In Week 3, following an incident involving disrespect toward Bigg Boss, host Nagarjuna issued a red card (the first ejection of the season 'Limitless'), removing him from the house. He finished twentieth overall.
