Amaal Mallik (अमाल मलिक) is an Indian music composer, singer, and producer born on 16 June 1990 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He comes from one of Bollywood's most celebrated musical dynasties — his grandfather Sardar Malik was a veteran music director, his father Daboo Malik is a composer, his uncle is Anu Malik, and his younger brother is playback singing star Armaan Malik. He completed his schooling at Jamnabai Narsee School, Mumbai, and his B.Com from N.M. College. He trained in piano from the age of eight at Trinity College of Music, London, and received Indian classical music training from his grandfather. He made his Bollywood debut as a composer with Jai Ho (2014), starring Salman Khan. Subsequent standout works include soundtracks for M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story (2016), Kapoor & Sons (2016), Kabir Singh (2019), and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 (2024). He has won the IIFA Best Music Director award for Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (2019) and the Filmfare Award for Best Music Director for Kabir Singh (2020). He also served as a judge on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs. In 2025, he participated as a contestant on Bigg Boss 19, finishing fifth in the grand finale.
