Anshitha Akbarsha (also known as Anshitha Anji) is a Tamil and Malayalam television actress, model, and YouTuber born on 28 August 1997 in Kochi, Kerala, and raised in Kollam, Kerala. She is from a Muslim family but is a devoted follower of Lord Krishna. She completed her degree in Visual Communication from SN College, Kollam. She made her acting debut in the Zee Keralam Malayalam serial Kabani (2019) as Rambha, quickly establishing herself as a promising talent. She followed this with the lead role of Soorya Kaimal in the Asianet serial Koodevide (2021–2023) — a role that earned her the Best Actress Special Jury Award at the Drishyam Janmabhoomi Television Awards 2022. She also participated in Mazhavil Manorama's comedy show Thakarppan Comedy. In 2022, she made her Tamil television debut with the lead role of Chellamma in the Star Vijay serial Chellamma (2022–2024), and also appeared in Cooku with Comali Season 5 (2024). She runs the YouTube channel 'Anshitha Anji' (YouTube Silver Play Button, 2022). In October 2024, she entered Bigg Boss Tamil Season 8 and was evicted in Week 12 (Day 83), finishing 11th overall.
