Arun Prasath is a Tamil television actor born on 30 November 1991 in Salem, Tamil Nadu. He completed his schooling at Sri Bhuvaneswari Vidhyalaya School, Salem, and earned a degree in BSc Visual Communication from Madras Christian College, Chennai. He made his debut with the short film Paran Kalam (2011) before building his career through short films like Pagal Kanavu and Kallan. His breakthrough came with the lead role of Dr. Bharathi in the popular Vijay TV serial Bharathi Kannamma (2019–2022) — a domestic drama centered on a doctor's complex marriage — which made him a household name in Tamil Nadu and earned him the Best Actor award at the Vijay Television Awards. He also played a supporting role in the Tamil film Meyaadha Maan (2017), which was critically acclaimed. He subsequently appeared in the serial Nigal Kaalam and the film Adithya Varma. In October 2024, he entered Bigg Boss Tamil Season 8 and served as House Captain during Week 6. He was evicted in Week 14 (Day 96), finishing 8th overall. He is engaged to VJ Archana Ravichandran (August 2025).
