Chahat Pandey is an Indian actress born on 1 June 1999 in Damoh, Madhya Pradesh. She was passionate about acting from a young age and went on to make her television debut with Pavitra Bandhan before rising to fame with a lead role in Hamari Bahu Silk (Colors TV, 2019), in which she played the character Anu - a free-spirited young woman whose unconventional personality drives the show's drama. She also appeared in the serial Durga: Mata Ki Chhaya and played the lead female role Nath in Nath - Zewar Ya Zanjeer (2022) opposite Avinash Mishra, with whom she later reunited on Bigg Boss 18. Beyond television, Chahat has also pursued political ambitions: she contested local elections in her hometown of Damoh, making her one of the younger TV personalities to engage directly with electoral politics. She has a significant social media presence and is known for her bold and outspoken public persona. She entered Bigg Boss 18 as the first officially introduced contestant of the season in October 2024. She was evicted in Week 14, finishing in 8th place.
