Chandrika (also known as Priyanka Chandrika) is an Indian actress from Bengaluru, Karnataka, who built her career across three decades in the Kannada film and television industry. Beginning in the late 1980s and through the 1990s, she accumulated roles in Kannada productions - most notably Avale Nanna Hendthi (1990) - establishing herself as a recognisable face in Sandalwood. She sustained her career across television serials and film appearances into the 2000s, and performed the item number 'Yevanu Ree' in the Kannada film Addhuri (2013). In March 2013, she entered Bigg Boss Kannada Season 1 on ETV Kannada as one of the original contestants. Her heated, ongoing feud with fellow contestant Nikita Thukral was one of the defining storylines of the inaugural season, with host Kiccha Sudeep ultimately mediating between the two. She was evicted in the penultimate week before the finale, then re-entered the house for one more week on Day 84. She was eliminated a second time on Day 90, finishing fifth overall.
