Deepti Nallamothu (దీప్తి నల్లమోతు) is an Indian television journalist, news anchor, actress, and content creator born on 25 August 1986 in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. Her father, Dr. Nageswara Rao, works in the medical department, and she has a brother, Dheeraj (a Spice Jet captain based in Gurgaon). She attended Atkinson Higher Secondary School, Vijayawada, and earned a degree in Journalism from Acharya Nagarjuna University, Namburu, Guntur. She married Srikanth Nallamothu, a businessman, at the age of 18 and they have a son named Siddharth. She is based in Vijayawada. After college, she began her career as a journalist for a local newspaper before joining TV9 Telugu as a field reporter and anchor, where she became one of the channel's most recognised faces. She hosted programmes covering politics, social issues, and entertainment. As an actress, she appeared in the Telugu films Shankar Dada MBBS (2004) and Bhadra (2005) in supporting roles, and also worked as a Radio Jockey at Radio Mirchi. She is also the host of Lakshmi Rave Maa Intiki (Zee TV) and has hosted numerous stage shows, audio launches, and award functions. She launched her YouTube channel Deep Talks with Deepti and her Instagram (649K+ followers) is among the most-followed by Telugu TV personalities. In June 2018, she participated in Bigg Boss Telugu Season 2 as the third contestant introduced, and finished as the fourth-place finalist on 30 September 2018. She later appeared in the Telugu film Hidimbha.
