Devi Nagavalli (born 12 July 1991 in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh) is an Indian television news anchor and journalist who works with TV9 Telugu. She is popularly known as 'TV9 Devi' or 'Anchor Devi'. Her father is Ramakrishna and her mother is Satyavathi, a homemaker; she has an elder brother Srikanth and a younger brother Naresh. She completed her schooling at Government Girls High School (later Sri Gowthami Smart School), Rajahmundry, and graduated in Commerce from Smt. Kandukuri Rajyalakshmi College for Women, Rajahmundry. She then earned a Diploma in Mass Communication and Journalism from Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University, Hyderabad, also completing a graphic designing course. She initially worked as a tutor (earning Rs. 1,500 per month) and as a graphic designing faculty at an engineering college before moving to Hyderabad and joining TV9 as an anchor and journalist. She rose to fame through Weekend Live Discussions, a celebrity interview show on TV9 known for her blunt and hard-hitting questions to film stars and politicians - which also earned her threats and warnings from several celebrities including actor Suman, and led to some interviews going viral, including one with Arjun Reddy-fame Vijay Deverakonda. As a ground reporter, she covered the Indonesia Tsunami (2018), Pulwama terror attack (2019), and Sri Lanka St. Anthony Church bomb blasts (2019). She was listed in the Hyderabad Times Most Desirable Women on Television in 2017. She won the National Television Award (Delhi) in 2009 and 2010, and the Nandi Award from the Andhra Pradesh government in 2019. She was briefly married and divorced after eight months; she has a son named Karthikeya. In 2020, Devi participated in Bigg Boss Telugu Season 4. She was evicted in Week 3 (Day 20), finishing seventeenth overall.
