Dharsha Gupta is a Tamil actress born on 7 June 1994 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She made her television debut in the Zee Tamil serial Mullum Malarum, before gaining national recognition as a participant in the comedy cooking reality show Cooku with Comali Season 2 (Star Vijay, 2020) — the show that made her a household name. She went on to appear in the Star Vijay serial Senthoora Poove (2020–2022) alongside veteran actor Ranjith. She made her film debut with the action thriller Rudra Thandavam (2021, dir. Mohan G) as lead actress Varahi, and followed this with a supporting role in Oh My Ghost (2022) starring Sunny Leone. She also starred in Thalamai Seiyalagam (2024) alongside actor Bharath. During the 2021 COVID-19 lockdown, she earned the Heart of the Year Award for providing shelter and basic medical support to over 20,000 people — a remarkable act of service that she carried out personally. In October 2024, she entered Bigg Boss Tamil Season 8 as an original contestant and was evicted in Week 3 (Day 20), finishing 22nd overall.
