FJ, born Fredrick John in Chennai, Tamil Nadu (born circa 1998–1999), is a rising Tamil actor, model, rapper, and beatboxer. He developed a passion for rap and beatboxing from a young age, performing at cultural events during his school and college years in Chennai. He first gained critical attention through the Amazon Prime Video web series Suzhal: The Vortex (2022), where he portrayed the character Fredrick John with a nuanced and intense performance. He subsequently appeared in the Tamil horror film Aranmanai 4 (2024). In October 2025, he entered Bigg Boss Tamil Season 9 as one of the original contestants, becoming a fan favourite for his calm demeanour, strategic thinking, and subtle humour.
