Gautham Krishna (గౌతమ్ కృష్ణ), full name D. Gautham Krishna, is an Indian actor, writer, filmmaker, and practising MBBS doctor born on 13 April 1996 in Hyderabad, Telangana. He attended private schools in Hyderabad and went on to complete his MBBS degree from Sharda University, Greater Noida, becoming a licensed physician - a dual identity he is celebrated for in the Telugu entertainment industry. Driven equally by medicine and storytelling, he entered the Telugu film industry in 2022, debuting as actor, director, and screenwriter with the film Aakasa Veedullo. He rose to public prominence after participating in Bigg Boss Telugu Season 7 (2023, hosted by Nagarjuna), reaching the finale rounds. In 2024, he entered Bigg Boss Telugu Season 8 as a wildcard contestant and, displaying composed, strategic gameplay, finished as the first runner-up in the grand finale on 15 December 2024. Post-Bigg Boss, he starred in the web series Solo Boy on Aha Video/JioHotstar (2025) and began production on the biopic of Muraali Naik.
