Huccha Venkat (real name Venkatesh) is a Kannada actor, comedian, and controversial public figure from Bengaluru, Karnataka. He earned the nickname 'Huccha' (meaning 'mad' in Kannada) for his erratic public behaviour. He made his film debut with Huccha (2001, dir. S. V. Rajendra Singh Babu, starring Upendra) and built a career through controversial comedy roles and public spectacles. He is known for his inflammatory and outrageous statements - particularly anti-Tamil remarks on social media that led to widespread controversy and FIR filings - as well as self-promotional stunts. He has been active in Karnataka politics as an independent candidate. In October 2015, he entered Bigg Boss Kannada Season 3 as one of the original 15 contestants. His time in the house came to an abrupt and dramatic end on Day 20 when he slapped fellow contestant Pratham (winner of Bigg Boss Kannada Season 4) - becoming the first person to be ejected from Bigg Boss Kannada for physical violence. The incident became one of the most discussed moments in the show's history and was widely referenced when Pratham later entered Season 4.
