Jui Gadkari (जुई गडकरी) is an Indian television actress and model born on 11 July 1988 in Pune, Maharashtra. She trained in acting and became one of Marathi television's most recognisable faces through her central role in the immensely popular Star Pravah daily soap Pudhcha Paaul (2011-2017), in which she played Kalyani - a simple, naive orphaned village girl who marries into the Sardeshmukh family and gradually wins over her stern mother-in-law. The serial ran for 1,944 episodes and was at various points the most-watched Marathi TV show with a 4.1-4.2 TVR. Her on-screen husband was played by Aastad Kale (also a Bigg Boss Season 1 contestant), and both real-life actors were rumoured to have had off-screen tensions despite their strong on-screen chemistry. Besides Pudhcha Paaul, she has appeared in other Marathi television serials and films. She attended the premiere of Bigg Boss Marathi Season 1 in April 2018 and was one of the fifteen original contestants on the show, hosted by Mahesh Manjrekar at Lonavala. On Day 8, she was involved in a captaincy task with Pushkar Jog that turned controversial. She was evicted in Week 7 (Day 48), finishing thirteenth overall.
