Amb. Dr. R. Kalaiarasan, popularly known as Aghori Kalaiyarasan, is an Indian cultural trainer, motivational speaker, and multi-world record holder born on 21 May 1997 in Bodinayakkanur, Theni District, Tamil Nadu. He now lives in Chennai. He holds an honorary doctorate and has mastered over 32 Tamil folk art forms, including Parai music and Karagattam. He adopted the 'Aghori' identity after a spiritual journey to Varanasi (Kasi), which became his public persona. He holds Guinness World Records, including one for performing the Karagattam folk dance while picking up needles with his eyelids, and for organising 1,700 Parai music artists to perform simultaneously for one hour. He founded the Giramiya Puthalvan Academy to preserve and teach Tamil folk traditions. In October 2025, he entered Bigg Boss Tamil Season 9 as a contestant and was evicted in week 3.
