Kamurudin Basha (stage name Kamrudin K) is an Indian actor born on 14 September 1995 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He studied at St. Joseph Matriculation School, Avadi, and graduated in engineering from Saveetha Engineering College, Thandalam. He worked as a software engineer at Flipkart before following his passion for acting. He gained recognition through his role as Kumaran — the calm and responsible eldest son-in-law — in the popular Vijay TV serial Mahanadhi, earning praise for his emotional depth and authenticity. He has also appeared in web series such as Anything But Kalyanam and films including Madhavam and Dear Students. In October 2025, he entered Bigg Boss Tamil Season 9 as a contestant. He was ejected from the house in week 14 alongside VJ Paaru, the first double red card ejection in the show's history.
