Lasya Manjunath (born Lasya Abhimani; 27 August 1989 in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh) is an Indian television anchor, actress, model, and YouTuber who works predominantly in the Telugu entertainment industry. Her father is Rajendra Abhimani and her mother is Saroj; she has an elder brother. She completed her schooling at Silver Bells Central School, Tirupati, and earned a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (CBIT), Hyderabad. She launched her TV career in 2012 as a co-host anchor on the Maa Music show Something Special alongside Anchor Ravi - the show that first brought her to public attention. She went on to host several major Telugu programmes including Mondi Mogudu Penki Pellam (2014), Maa Voori Vanta (2016), and Dhee Ultimate Dance Show (2017). She won the Zee Kutumbum Award for Best Anchor and the Padmamohana Arts Theatre Award for Best Female Video Jockey (2014). She made her acting debut in the Telugu film Raja Meru Keka (2017) and appeared in MLA (2019) opposite Kalyan Ram and Kajal Aggarwal. In January 2019, she launched her YouTube channel Lasya Talks - covering cooking, beauty, lifestyle, and vlogs - which crossed 100 million views within months and received a YouTube Gold Play Button in August 2019. She secretly married Manjunath Chillale (a Marathi software engineer) in 2010 without parental approval, with the marriage formally acknowledged after several years; their son Daksh (nicknamed Jeenu) was born in 2019. In 2020, Lasya participated in Bigg Boss Telugu Season 4, where she revealed her personal love story and marriage history on the show. She was evicted in Week 11 (Day 76), finishing eighth overall.
