Mandana Karimi (मंदाना करीमी), born Manizhe Karimi on 19 May 1988 in Tehran, Iran, is an Iranian actress and model based in India. Her father is Indian-Iranian and her mother is Persian-Iranian; she grew up in Tehran. She previously worked as a flight attendant with Malaysian Airlines before her modelling career brought her to India via Hong Kong, where she lived for several years. She rose to international modelling prominence through assignments across India and the Middle East, frequently noted for her striking resemblance to Hollywood star Elizabeth Hurley. Vikram Bhatt discovered her for films, and she made her Bollywood debut in Roy (2015, cameo as Arjun Rampal's girlfriend), followed by Bhaag Johnny (2015, as Rachel, opposite Kunal Kemmu), Main Aur Charles (2015, as Charles Sobhraj's assistant, with Randeep Hooda), and Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3 (2016). She was also signed for the Zee5 web series The Casino. In October 2015, she entered Bigg Boss 9 (Double Trouble) alongside Keith Sequeira as one of the show's Double Trouble pairs. Known for her emotional outbursts, competitive spirit, and outspoken personality, she lasted all 105 days and finished as the second runner-up (third place) on 23 January 2016. She married businessman Gaurav Gupta in 2017; they divorced in 2021.
