Master Anand (born H. Anand, 4 January 1984 in Bengaluru, Karnataka) is an Indian Kannada actor, film director, television presenter, and spiritual speaker. He is the son of V. Hariharan and B.S. Latha, and has a brother Arun who is also an actor. He married Yashaswini on 18 March 2010; they have a son and a daughter (Vanshika Anjani Kashyapa, also a child artist). He began his career as a child artist, debuting in Ravichandran's Kindarijogi before his most celebrated childhood role as Ganesha in Gauri Ganesha (1991). He continued as a child actor in multiple films before transitioning to adult roles. His comedy television career took off with SSLC Nan Maklu (Asianet Suvarna, 2010) and the iconic long-running comedy serial Silli Lalli (ETV Kannada). He made his directorial debut with 5 Idiots (2011), followed by Paduvaralli Paddegalu (Asianet Suvarna TV series) and Robo Family (Colors Kannada TV series). He has appeared as an actor in Click (2016), Bharaate (2019), and Mutthina Maleyali. He also works as a spiritual speaker and yoga practitioner. In October 2015, he entered Bigg Boss Kannada Season 3. His energetic, fun-loving personality made him one of the season's most popular contestants - pre-finale polls widely predicted he would win. He competed for all 98 days, finishing as Second Runner-Up on 31 January 2016.
