Mridul Tiwari (मृदुल तिवारी), known online as The MriDul, is an Indian YouTuber, content creator, and comedian born on 8 July 2000 in Etawah, Uttar Pradesh, into a Hindu Brahmin family. His father Raghvendra Tiwari is a businessman and his mother Shashi Tiwari is a homemaker. He completed his schooling at Deep Open School, Surajpur, Greater Noida, and graduated from Meerut University (Chaudhary Charan Singh University). He launched his YouTube channel The MriDul in October 2018. His first viral hit was Sister vs Girlfriend, followed by School Life (2019), which catapulted him to national fame by striking a nostalgic chord with student audiences. His channel, known for relatable Hindi-language sketches about daily Indian family and school life, grew to over 19 million subscribers, placing him among India's biggest digital creators. He frequently collaborates with his sister, YouTuber Pragati Tiwari. He won the Best Content Creator and Global Trendsetter awards at the Influencer Impact Awards (2024) and holds a record from the London Book of World Records. In 2025, he entered Bigg Boss 19 through the public 'Fans Ka Faisla' vote, defeating Shehbaz Badesha to earn his spot; he was evicted in Week 12, finishing tenth.
