Muthukumaran Jegatheesan, popularly known as Naan Muthu Kumaran, is a Tamil social media influencer, YouTuber, video jockey, and public speaker from Karaikudi, Tamil Nadu. A Mechanical Engineering graduate and a diehard fan of Tamil lyricist Naa Muthukumaran (from whom he takes inspiration for his name), he began his career as an orator, winning debate competitions across Tamil Nadu. He launched his YouTube channel 'Naan Muthu Kumaran' in 2019, sharing personal vlogs, film reviews, social commentary, and interviews, growing it alongside an Instagram following of over 1 million. He worked as an anchor with SS Music and hosted Tamil Pechu Engal Moochu Season 3 on Vijay TV — the show that gave him mainstream visibility. In October 2024, he entered Bigg Boss Tamil Season 8, hosted by Vijay Sethupathi, and was praised throughout the season for his emotional intelligence, strategic gameplay, and strong debating skills. On 19 January 2025, he was crowned the winner, taking home a prize of ₹40.5 lakh, a Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, and a plot of land — becoming the first commoner to win Bigg Boss Tamil since the show's inception.
