Nainika Anasuru (నైనికా అనసూరి), also known as Naina, is an Indian dancer, choreographer, actress, and content creator born on 27 August 2001 in Jharsuguda, Odisha. She completed her schooling at St. Mary's Senior Secondary School, Jharsuguda, before relocating to Hyderabad. Despite opposition from her father's side of the family, her passion for dance was nurtured by her mother and relatives - who noticed her natural talent at a family wedding - and her mentor Debanjan Bose (Sunny), a Zumba instructor and choreographer. She received formal training in Bharatanatyam from age five, and later added jazz, belly dance, contemporary, hip hop, and salsa to her repertoire. Her national break came when she entered Zee TV's Dance India Dance Season 6 (2017) as a wildcard contestant, finishing as the fourth runner-up (Top 5). She went on to compete in ETV's Dhee 13: Kings vs Queens (2021, reaching the finale) and Dhee 14: The Dancing Icon (2022, as a duo with partner Sai). She made her acting debut in the film Pilla Padesave (2023, as Anu) and appeared in the web series Nayanam (2024). She has also appeared on Colors TV's India's Got Talent and Zee TV's Dance India Dance Li'l Masters. In September 2024, she entered Bigg Boss Telugu Season 8 from Day 1 and was evicted in Week 5, finishing seventeenth overall.
