Pushkar Jog (पुष्कर जोग) is an Indian actor, director, producer, dancer, and qualified dentist born on 15 July 1985 in Pune, Maharashtra. His father Suhas Jog was a respected teacher in Pune and his mother is a homemaker; he has a brother Amol Suhas Jog who holds an MBA from the University of Sheffield and manages the family's educational trust. He completed his schooling at Vidya Bhawan Public School, Pune, earned a Bachelor of Dentistry from Mumbai University, and also trained at Bharati Vidyapeeth College, Pune - taking a break from the film industry to qualify as a licensed dentist before returning to acting. He began acting at age four as a child artist in Marathi films and television, appearing in Rao Saheb (1985) and early Hindi serials. Despite qualifying as a dentist, he could not resist acting and made his adult film debut in Jabardast (2007, dir. Sachin Pilgaonkar). He appeared in Hindi films Goodbuddy Gadbadi, Huff! It's Too Much (2013, which he also directed and wrote), Dont Worry Be Happy, and EMI (2008, with Sanjay Dutt). His biggest successes came in Marathi cinema with Hardik Shubheccha and Taboo, establishing him as a leading man in Sandalwood. He won Maharashtra's premiere dance reality show Nach Baliye (Maharashtracha Nach Baliye, 2010) and participated in Eka Peksha Ek Jodicha Mamla (2012). He produced and hosted ABP Majha Around The World, a three-season international travel show. He also directed and co-wrote the Hindi film Mission Possible (2010). He is the director of P. Jog Educational Trust, Pune. In 2014, he initiated the Dare to Care cleanliness campaign. He married air hostess Jasmin Brahmabhatt on 28 November 2014; they have a daughter named Felisha. In April 2018, he participated in Bigg Boss Marathi Season 1, finishing as the first runner-up at the grand finale on 22 July 2018. He later appeared in Ti And Ti (2019) and Well Done Baby! (2021) and hosted the musical show Sur Nava Dhyas Nava 3 (2019).
