Rajat Dalal is an Indian powerlifter, fitness influencer, and social media personality born on 12 January 1996 in Faridabad, Haryana, into a Hindu Jat family. His father is Mohinder Singh Dalal, and he has siblings including a brother Mukesh Dalal and sister Neeru Dalal. He completed his schooling at Tagore Academy Public School and graduated from Manav Rachna University, Faridabad. He developed an interest in fitness during college and became a competitive powerlifter, winning 80 total medals including 14 for India in national and international events. His landmark achievement was setting a Classic Raw World Record in the Deadlift (302.5 kg) in the 90 kg Men's Junior 20-23 division in 2018. He won WPC World Cup Gold in the 90 kg junior category in 2018 and in the 100 kg Pro Junior/Pro Open category in 2019. He subsequently transitioned to fitness content creation and coaching, operating the brand Trained by Rajat and amassing millions of followers across Instagram and YouTube. His career has been accompanied by controversies, including a viral reckless driving incident in August 2024, an altercation with a gym-goer, and a public feud with YouTuber CarryMinati. Despite this polarising image, he entered Bigg Boss 18 in October 2024, where he became one of the most-discussed contestants, mediated a high-profile dispute between content creators, and finished as the second runner-up (3rd place) on 19 January 2025.
