Rajat Rawail is an Indian film producer, director, and actor born on 9 June 1972 and raised in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He comes from a storied Bollywood family — his grandfather is the legendary filmmaker H.S. Rawail, known for classics like Mere Mehboob and Sunghursh, and his uncle is director Rahul Rawail. He completed his schooling at Maneckji Cooper School, Juhu, Mumbai. He began his career as an assistant director to Ramesh Sippy, working on Bhrashtachar (1989), Akayla (1991), and Zamaana Deewana (1995). He went on to produce the blockbuster comedy-drama Ready (2011) starring Salman Khan and the comedy film No Problem (2010). He also produced Shortkut – The Con is On and co-produced Run and Anjaam. In 2013, he entered Bigg Boss Season 7 and was evicted in Week 2, finishing nineteenth in the season.
