Roopal Tyagi (रूपल त्यागी) is an Indian television actress and model born on 12 July 1990 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She attended St. Francis High School, Mumbai, and completed her graduation in Mumbai before entering the entertainment industry through modelling. She made her television debut and built a steady career in Hindi daily soaps. She is recognised for her roles as Sapna in Gulaal (Star Plus, 2011–2012), Sona in Suvreen Guggal: Topper of the Year (Zee TV, 2012–2013, a show specifically targeting collegiate youth), Mansi in 12/24 Karol Bagh (Life OK, 2013), and Aanchal Sehgal in Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai (Star Plus, 2011–2014). She has also appeared in Balika Vadhu (Colors TV) and Dil Ki Nazar Se Khoobsurat (Star Plus). In October 2015, she entered Bigg Boss 9 (Double Trouble) as one of the original housemates. She was evicted in Week 2 (Day 13), finishing nineteenth overall.
