Sandra Amy (also known as Sandra Jose) is a South Indian actress, model, classical dancer, and video jockey born on 5 June 1984 in Idukki, Kerala. She grew up in Trivandrum in a Christian family and holds a degree in Psychology from H.H. The Maharaja's College for Women, Trivandrum. She is also a former Miss Trivandrum titleholder. She began her entertainment career as a child artist in the 1996 Malayalam film Omana Thingal Kidavo before transitioning to Tamil cinema and television. She gained wide recognition as the host of Asatha Povadu Yaaru on Sun TV and as a VJ, before building a strong acting career in popular Tamil serials such as Saravanan Meenatchi and Thangam. Her films include Singam 3 (2017), Kaatrin Mozhi (2018), and the lead role in Sivappu Enakku Pidikkum. She is married to actor Prajin Padmanabhan and the couple have twin daughters, Mithra and Rudhra (born March 2019). In 2025, Sandra and Prajin made history as the first real-life couple to enter Bigg Boss Tamil as wildcard contestants together in Season 9.
