Sayantani Ghosh (born 23 September 1981) is an Indian television actress from Kolkata, West Bengal. She has worked extensively in Hindi television and built a strong career over more than two decades in popular daily soaps. She is best known for her long-running and memorable role as Nagin Maa (the mother of the main Naagin) across multiple seasons of Colors TV's supernatural drama franchise Naagin. Other notable roles include appearances in Uttaran (Zee TV), Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai (television adaptation), and several other television series. In 2012, she participated in Bigg Boss 6, lasting 18 days before eviction in week 3, finishing eighteenth overall.
