Shehzada Dhami is an Indian actor born on 7 April 1996 in Delhi. He pursued acting full time after moving to Mumbai, going through the usual grind of auditions and small roles before landing his breakthrough. He shot to widespread fame when he was cast in the lead role of Abhimanyu Birla in one of Indian television's most iconic serials, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (Star Plus), replacing veteran actor Harshad Chopda in 2023 - a controversial casting decision that placed him under intense public scrutiny. He played the role until 2024. He candidly discussed the on-set conditions and his exit from the show on the Bigg Boss 18 stage, alleging unfair treatment by the show's production house. He entered Bigg Boss 18 in October 2024 as one of the original contestants. His stay was marked by an early controversy with co-contestant Chum Darang over a remark perceived as racially insensitive toward people from the North-East. He was evicted in Week 4 (Day 26), finishing 19th.
