Shrutika Arjun is an Indian actress, entrepreneur, and television personality born on 17 September 1987 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She is the granddaughter of the beloved Tamil comedian-actor Thengai Srinivasan. Her father is Tamil and her mother is Punjabi. She completed her schooling at Adarsh Vidyalaya Higher Secondary School and earned a degree in Visual Communication from SRM College, Chennai. She made her acting debut at age 14 opposite Suriya in the Tamil film Sri (2002). She subsequently appeared in Album (Tamil, 2002), Nala Damayanthi (Tamil, with R. Madhavan, 2003), Swapnam Kondu Thulabharam (Malayalam, opposite Suresh Gopi, 2003), and Thithikudhe (Tamil, 2003, with Jiiva). She then stepped away from acting for nearly two decades to pursue education and family life, marrying businessman Arjun in 2010 and having a son, Aarav. In 2018, she founded the Ayurvedic skincare brand Haappy Herbs and later launched the women's clothing label Tharii By Shrutika. She returned to the spotlight by winning Cooku with Comali Season 3 (Star Vijay, 2022), then appeared in Mr and Mrs Chinnathirai Season 4 (2022), Kalakka Povathu YaaruINR Champions Season 4 (2023, as judge), and the reality show The 50 (2025). She became the first Tamil contestant on Bigg Boss 18 (October 2024), where she stayed for 95 days and finished in 9th place.
