Soundariya Nanjundan is a Tamil actress and model born on 5 August 1995 in Bengaluru, Karnataka, to a Kannada-speaking father and Tamil-speaking mother. Her family relocated to Chennai during her early childhood, where she grew up and completed her education at the University of Madras. She launched her career as a model and social media influencer before making her mark in Tamil entertainment. She gained her first public recognition as the 4th runner-up in the reality show Villa to Village (2018). Her film debut came with an uncredited role in Thamizh Padam 2 (2018), followed by supporting parts in Adithya Varma (2019), Darbar (2020, starring Rajinikanth), and Draupathi (2020). Her lead role as Leena in the Aha Tamil workplace comedy Vera Maari Office (2023–2024) earned her widespread recognition. Following Bigg Boss Tamil Season 8, she has appeared as a guest on multiple Star Vijay reality shows and on Cooku with Comali Season 6. She is in a relationship with actor Vishnu Vijay, whom she proposed to on live television during Bigg Boss Season 8.
