Sushant Shelar (सुशांत शेलार) is an Indian actor working in Marathi theatre and films from Mumbai, Maharashtra. He entered Bigg Boss Marathi Season 1 on 15 April 2018 as one of the fifteen original contestants. On Day 1, when housemates were asked to choose four candidates for House Captain by placing their Bigg Boss tokens in the chosen person's piggy bank, Sushant won the most tokens and became the season's first House Captain. His time in the house was marked by a significant confrontation with fellow contestant Pushkar Jog - involving inappropriate language during a captaincy task - which became one of Season 1's more controversial moments. He voluntarily walked out of the house on Day 51 (Week 8). He finished twelfth overall.
