Swathi Deekshith (born 20 March 1992 in Hyderabad, Telangana) is an Indian actress, model, and certified yoga instructor who works predominantly in Telugu, Tamil, and Bengali films. Her father is a retired army officer and her mother is a homemaker; she has a brother, Preetham, and a sister, Bhavna Deekshith. She completed her schooling at Oakridge International School, Hyderabad, and graduated from Chennai University. She began her entertainment career in 2009 by winning the Telugu reality beauty pageant Andamaina Bhamalu, hosted by actor Kaushal Manda and actress Vidya Rao. The win opened doors to advertisement films and child artist roles. She made her feature film debut with the Bengali romantic drama Tor Naam (2012), playing the female lead Swapna Mollik. Her Telugu debut came with Break Up (2012). Her most widely seen Telugu role was as Ganga, a village girl opposite Allari Naresh, in the comedy-drama Jump Jilani (2014). She also appeared in Ladies & Gentlemen (2015), Chitrangada (2017), Ram Gopal Varma's Deyyam (2021), and Gammathu (2023). She made her Tamil debut with Sathura Adi 3500 (2017) and appeared in the Tamil comedy-adventure Simba (2019) alongside Bharath. She is also a certified yoga instructor. In 2020, Swathi entered Bigg Boss Telugu Season 4 as a wildcard contestant in Week 3. She was evicted in Week 4 (Day 28 - after approximately 9 days in the house), finishing sixteenth overall.
