Varshini Venkat (stage name VJ ZaZa) is a Tamil actress, singer, lyricist, model, and content creator from Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Her father, an IIT Delhi graduate, worked in the USA for several years. She built her social media presence through fitness content, fashion, and custom-design merchandise (sold through her Instagram brand Zazarty by Zaza) before entering Tamil television. She made her film debut in Lara (dir. Mani Moorthi) and gained wider recognition for her role as Inspector Poonguzhali in the Sun TV family drama Kannana Kanne (2020–2023). She is also a singer and lyricist who has shared original compositions on social media, and runs the vlogging YouTube channel VJ ZaZa Vlogs. In November 2024, she entered Bigg Boss Tamil Season 8 as a wildcard contestant on Day 28. She was evicted in Week 7 (Day 49), finishing 19th overall.
