Vasuki Vaibhav (popularly known as Vasuki) is an Indian composer, singer, lyricist, and actor born on 7 December 1992 in Bengaluru, Karnataka. He began as a theatre artist, performing plays while developing his skills in music composition, singing, and acting. His breakthrough in Kannada cinema came with the 2016 romantic film Rama Rama Re, for which he composed the music. His career-defining work came with Sarkari Hi. Pra. Shaale, Kasaragodu, Koduge: Ramanna Rai (2018), whose rural, folk-infused score earned him the Filmfare Award South for Best Music Director and a SIIMA Award nomination — establishing him as one of Sandalwood's most distinctive music voices. He followed this with French Biriyani (2020), Badava Rascal (2021 — second Filmfare Best Music Director award), and the big-budget pan-India fantasy film Vikrant Rona (2022, starring Kiccha Sudeep — the same actor who hosted him on Bigg Boss). He has also appeared as an actor in Tagaru Palya (2023) and Mafia (2024, alongside BBK7 winner Shine Shetty). He married Brunda in 2023. In October 2019, he entered Bigg Boss Kannada Season 7. He competed for all 112 days and finished as the Second Runner-Up on 2 February 2020.
