Veena Jagtap is an Indian actress and model born on 4 March 1995 in Ulhasnagar, Maharashtra, into a middle-class family. Her father is Mahendra Ramchandra Jagtap and her mother is Nirmala Mahendra Jagtap. She studied at Guru Nanak High School, Ulhasnagar, and completed her junior college in the Commerce stream at K.B. Junior College (Vaze Kelkar, Mulund), Mumbai. She earned a graduation degree in Banking and Insurance, scoring distinction. She began her modelling career at age 19. Her television debut was in the Star Plus show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (2015) as a negative character. She made her Marathi debut with Radha Prem Rangi Rangali (Colors Marathi, 2017) as the female lead Radha - a role that established her in the Marathi TV industry. She has also appeared in Hindi TV serials. In 2019, she participated in Bigg Boss Marathi Season 2 on Colors Marathi. Inside the house, she formed a close bond with fellow contestant Shiv Thakare - during a task, Shiv got her name tattooed on his right hand - and they entered into a relationship after the show. She finished as the 2nd runner-up on 1 September 2019. In 2020, the couple appeared together in the Marathi music video Kasa Chandra. They separated in 2022.
