Vivian Dsena is an Indian actor born on 28 June 1988 in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, to Duncan Dsena and Shyamlata Dsena. His father is of Portuguese and British descent; his mother is Hindu. He attended Lokmanya Tilak High School in Mumbai and Bhonsala Military School in Nashik, and cleared state-level and national engineering entrance examinations before choosing modelling and acting. He began his career after participating in the Gladrags Manhunt and Megamodel Contest in 2007, finishing in the top 10. He made his television debut on Zee TV's Kasamh Se (2008) before his breakthrough as Abhay Raichand in the vampire drama Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani (2010-2011), India's first youth-centric supernatural series inspired by The Vampire Diaries. He achieved peak stardom as Rishabh Kundra in Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon (2012-2014), broadcast in over 50 countries, earning ITA Awards and Gold Awards. He portrayed Harman Singh in Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki (2016-2019), a show addressing transgender rights. He has also appeared in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8 (2015), Khatron Ke Khiladi 7 (2016), and Sirf Tum (2021-2022). In personal life, he was previously married to actress Vahbiz Dorabjee (divorced 2021). He converted to Islam during Ramadan 2019 and married Egyptian journalist Nouran Aly in 2022; they have a daughter, Layan. He entered Bigg Boss 18 in October 2024 - reportedly the highest-paid contestant of the season - and finished as first runner-up on 19 January 2025.
