VJ Parvathy (known as VJ Paaru), born Parvathy Saran on 12 June 1995, is a popular Tamil television anchor, video jockey, actress, and social media influencer from Madurai, Tamil Nadu. She completed her schooling at Mahatma School and graduated from Madras Christian College, Chennai, followed by a Master's in Journalism and Communication from Madurai Kamaraj University. She began her career as a radio jockey in Madurai and transitioned to television as a VJ, working with Sun TV, Galatta Tamil, Vikatan, and Indiaglitz. She rose to wider fame through Cooku with Comali Season 2 and Survivor Tamil (2021). She runs the popular YouTube channel 'Vibe With Paaru' and has over 600K Instagram followers. In 2025, she entered Bigg Boss Tamil Season 9. She was ejected in week 14 via a red card alongside Kamrudin K, in the show's first double ejection.
